This is an all natural organic compost. It is the lightest, fluffiest and most nutritious of our topsoils.
We recommend not using it any deeper than 1-2 inches when planting grass. It is light and will settle if used too deep, leaving unevenness in your lawn. It is often used as a top dressing.
Black compost is an excellent option for flower and vegetable gardens due to its nutritional content.
